No side affects except occasional constpation

Unfortunately for me, this didn't work. Firstly, it made me crave sugar really bad. Also caused major constipation. But the worst side effect was excessive bleeding. I got my period super early and it lasted two weeks. Then I had a one week break before it started again for another two weeks. Another 1 week break and it started again for another two weeks. It's been like this now for 45 days, and still going. I'm praying to God it stops and goes back to normal soon, as it's been hell. This berberine also made me feel extremely fatigued, super tired all day. But it does help you to sleep at night. I only see one other person in the reviews complaining of menstrual problems. So it must be rare.

Everything was fine with the product, the manufacturer's reputation, delivery, etc. The problem is, as warned on various medical websites, it upset my stomach. My reaction was not as severe as that of other reviewers--just an overall, day-long, persistent nausea. It was like mild morning sickness if you are familiar with that! Maybe that's why it controls the appetite? It was not pleasant. The nausea stopped about a day after I stopped taking it. Therefore, those who want to try it might start with one bottle instead of doing a subscription right away.

This is my first bottle, not 100 percent what it does or doesn’t do. But one must remember everyone’s body react differently.

I did what I thought was a fair amount of research and chose the 1 with the best reviews. Have been using as directed for a month now. I've been eating less calorie dense and non-nutritional junk food and moving a lot more. Yet, I've gained 15-20 pounds and my bloodwork is way out of whack. I did recently (3 months ago) start a prescription of steroids and have 2 weeks left of that. I'd love to say this really works but I have not had definitive results due to the combative effects of taking steroids at the same time. I'm going to order another bottle and hope once I finish the steroids, the weight will start to fall off and my A1c will begin to lower. I will come back and update when that time comes. Until then, I cannot say definitively that this works.
