I've ordered this 7 times from Amazon & generally been satisfied with it & other Thorne Research products.
However, I've recently noticed that pills in a not-yet-expired bottle – that were initially nearly white – have been darkening over time with brown spots. They've also developed a pungent, earthy smell that wasn't noticeable before.
Two days ago, I asked about whether this was normal, and if pills so changed would still be safe/effective, via the "Customer Questions & Answers" feature of Amazon. I just now checked back to find... my question deleted. I've received no answer or explanation for the deletion. Now I don't know what to think!
I've posted a slightly simpler version of my question again in the hopes of getting an answer.
UPDATE (2022-07-13): My question has again been silently deleted. No answer, no explanation. Is it OK for the pills to get dark, splotchy, & extra-smelly before their expiration? Apparently, even if someone somewhere knows 'yes' or 'no' – maybe Thorne or the seller "Pattern -iServe-"? – they're not allowed to answer.
Adding photo comparing an older pill (left, exp. 10-2022) to a newer pill (right, exp. 09-2023), to show how extreme the appearance-change gets.
